Traditions – “Saint Devota’s Day Celebration”

Sunday 26 January 2025, at 6 pm, Quai Albert Ier
As part of celebrations marking Saint Devota’s Day, members of the public are invited to watch the Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament from a secure area on the concourse of the Place Sainte-Dévote, where the ceremony will be shown live on a big screen. Corsican singers will perform at the beginning of the evening. Spectators can then move to a specially designated area on Quai Albert Ier, to see the symbolic boat burning. Afterwards, an eight-minute drone show will light up the skies, illustrating some of the key moments in Saint Devota’s life.
