4x4x48 Run Challenge Monaco 2025: Princess Charlene Foundation challenge

Monaco Welcomes Grit and Generosity with 4x4x48 Run Challenge

Starting Friday, April 11 at 8 p.m., Monaco will host the 4x4x48 Run Challenge, an endurance event with a charitable twist, in support of the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation.

Inspired by ultramarathoner and former Navy SEAL David Goggins, the challenge invites participants to run 6.5 kilometers every 4 hours over a 48-hour period—amounting to 12 races in total.

While the format may be simple, the physical and mental test is anything but. Runners of all levels are welcome to take part in as many or as few runs as they like, alternating between two scenic routes in the Principality.

About The Princess Charlene Foundation

The Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation saves lives by fighting against drowning and develops the education of children through the values of sport.

To protect children from avoidable injuries and to prevent drowning, the Learn to Swim and Water Safety programmes provide theoretical and practical training to children and adults and raise public awareness of water hazards.

To inspire future generations and contribute to the well-being of children, the Sport & Education programme organises sports events and encourages everyone to take up a sport.
